At Castle Dedede, King Dedede is gorging on chips like there’s no tomorrow. Escargoon storms in, shouting his name over and over until the king finally listens. Escargoon tells Dedede to stop eating so much, warning that he’s starting to look like the streamer CaseOh. Dedede brushes it off, but then wonders aloud if he was planning something earlier.
Escargoon reminds him of his devious plan: shrink the Kirbies and eat them before they return to their normal size.
Later, at the Eating Contest Arena, Dedede faces off against the Kirbies in a competition to devour a giant cake. But Tiff, suspecting foul play, exposes Dedede’s evil scheme to the audience. The crowd immediately turns against the king, booing and pelting him with tomatoes. Embarrassed and furious, Dedede storms out.
Suddenly, Dedede's plan springs into action—shrinking the Kirbies and causing them to fall onto the massive cake! Despite being tiny, the Kirbies begin munching away. In the end, Pink Kirby racks up the most points and is crowned the winner of the cake-eating contest.
