Citizens from across the multiverse gather, cheering, dancing, and sharing their memories of 2024. The heroes relax and reflect on their experiences—Sonic and SpongeBob agree it was a great year, while Peach admits it had its downs.
As the clock strikes 12:00 AM, a massive firework explodes high above the kingdom, spelling out "Happy New Year, 2025!" in glittering lights. The crowd erupts in celebration.
Meanwhile, Bowser, watching from his castle, boils with frustration. Not only have the heroes celebrated Christmas without him, but now they’re cheering for the new year—one he feels doesn’t belong to him after another crushing defeat. Worse still, Mario has been defeating him for 39 years straight, and it’s starting to sting.
Unable to contain his rage, Bowser storms outside, only to be greeted by Mario. In classic fashion, Mario laughs at Bowser, chuckling and launching a flurry of fireballs at him. Bowser retreats once more, while the heroes celebrate beneath the shimmering night sky.
The episode closes with everyone cheering, hugging, and watching the stars—ready for whatever wild adventures await in 2025.
