The new Tesla megafactory in Shanghai has kicked off trial production seven months after construction started, says Tesla China.
The facility will focus on producing Tesla’s energy-storage solution, the Megapack, a large-scale, rechargeable, lithium-ion battery stationary energy storage, designed to store renewable energy on a massive scale.
