Since I have read the LN, I have a certain perspective on this series as I watch. I hope it can live up to the LN.
I also highly recommend reading the Light Novel version as it is a VASTLY different story at this point with how I see the future of the anime going. But hey, any exposure for this series is good one way or the other. I mean in terms of how the events are playing out, because they are the same broad strokes of the Light Novel, but told in such a way that it somehow leads to a different outcome. I don't understand why make such a change at all.
(Edit: This is after the season is over and I no longer think that ill of the anime version thanks to episode 12 but still read the LN as they are amazing Slice of Life adventures as the series goes on.)
