Preparedness still key to dealing with calamities, says lawmaker after Leyte quake
Southern Leyte 2nd District Rep Christopherson Yap emphasizes that preparedness remains the most important consideration in dealing with natural disasters and calamities. He and other officials will carry out an aerial assessment, alongside the Office of Civil Defense and the Philippine Air Force, to assess the damage caused by a 5.8 magnitude earthquake that struck the province on Jan. 23.
