Ancient Rome had very different attitudes towards many things. The poet Catullus wrote sexually explicit poetry, which today is found in literal and quite shocking translations. But the translation that I here set to funky jazz rhythms comes from the 19th century, and several euphemisms soften it up considerably.
I have made this series in order to provide a new angle on old classics. It will lower the threshold, and more people will then know who these poets were.
