Marcos bets launch campaign in Metro Manila
The senatorial candidates of the Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas on Feb. 18, 2025 expresses confidence that they will maintain their stronghold in Metro Manila with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s support. They reiterated that they would not resort to negative campaigning following former president Rodrigo Duterte's remark about killing 15 senators to make way for his nine-man ticket in the May midterm elections. Former senate president Tito Sotto said that by making personal attack against someone, they have lost the political debate.
