Cloudy conditions over much of Northern Ireland, Wales, western Scotland and the southwest of England this afternoon, with the odd shower possible in these areas. Orkney and the Shetland Islands may also see some outbreaks of rain as a frontal band continues its way northeastwards. Much of the rest of the UK should remain dry however with sunshine, hazy at times.
