March 2025 update -- After months of delaying, Eaton Peabody, through its lawyers, acknowledged to the state court, through a formal pleading, that the 2024 complaint and all seven causes of action against Eaton Peabody and its attorneys were legally valid. In other words, Eaton Peabody as a law firm, and its lawyers, did not even attempt to argue to the court that the lawsuit against it or any of the lawsuits legal claims or legal theories of misconduct were deficient, or speculative, or implausible.

Instead, in March 2025, Eaton Peabody filed with the court a formal document acknowledging the legal validity of the complaint, acknowledging the legal validity of all seven causes of action, and stating only that Eaton Peabody disagreed with some of the facts and fact allegations in the complaint.

Among the facts in the complaint that Eaton Peabody disagrees with, Eaton Peabody wrote to the court in its formal filing that now Eaton Peabody even disagrees with its own facts its lawyers' own emails, own documents, and even its own billing statements.
