Originally aired on the BBC in 1987, this four-part television adaptation of The Diary of Anne Frank stars Katharine Schlesinger as Anne and Emrys James as Otto Frank. It is one of the lesser-known but more faithful screen portrayals of Anne’s life in hiding.
This series has been incredibly difficult to find in modern times, so I have digitized my personal DVD copy to preserve it and make it publicly accessible once more. Anne Frank’s story is timeless, and it’s important that every interpretation of her diary — no matter how obscure — remains available for future generations.
