A 120ft giant redwood stands in a Bristol housing estate after developers built around it in the 1970s.
The tree, once on a pig farm, is now in the Cherry family’s garden, where they admire it despite pigeon droppings and a shifting driveway.
The endangered species, native to California, has a preservation order and would require a crane for removal.
