Food processing firm shifts to renewable energy
Ajinomoto Philippines Corp., a major player in the food processing and seasoning industry has fully shifted its Cebu facility to 100 percent renewable energy, marking a significant step toward greener manufacturing. In partnership with ACEN Renewable Energy Solutions, Ajinomoto now powers all its factories nationwide with clean energy, underscoring its commitment to sustainability as part of its 2030 roadmap. The milestone was celebrated with the unveiling of a Renewable Energy Badge at the Mactan Economic Zone 2, followed by a gathering in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu on April 4, 2025. Koichi Ozaki, President of Ajinomoto Philippines, highlighted the achievement as a key step in advancing both environmental goals and the company’s dedication to a healthier, more sustainable future.
