Taiwan has lodged an official protest after Cambodia deported dozens of Taiwanese fraud suspects to China without providing a list of names. Around 190 people, including both Chinese and Taiwanese nationals, were recently deported from Cambodia to China. Taiwanese officials worry the move reflects a growing trend of Beijing forcing its “One China” principle on other countries by pressuring them to hand over Taiwanese citizens.
