An 18-year-old high school student, Landon Haines, recreated the iconic promposal scene from the 90s rom-com 10 Things I Hate About You to ask his girlfriend, Haley Moore, 16, to prom.
Inspired by social media promposals and knowing Haley's love for the movie, Landon serenaded her with "Can't Take My Eyes Off You" from the football field bleachers, just like Heath Ledger’s character Patrick Verona.
He even had two friends act as security guards, mirroring the film's scene.
After coordinating with a team of friends and getting permission from his school principal, Landon pulled off the surprise, making Haley’s promposal unforgettable.
