New Delhi, April 15, 2025 (ANI): Giving an update of monsoon, IMD Director General Mrutyunjay Mohapatra on April 15 informed that India will receive more than the normal range of monsoon this year. He also informed that the arrival of monsoon on Kerala tip will be given on May 15. “This year, monsoon rains will be more than the normal range. Quantitatively, the rains will be 105% of long Fred average... It will be almost at all place in India, except northeastern states, Bihar, Tamil Nadu and Ladakh, that will receive below-normal rainfall... The information about the arrival of monsoon on Kerala tip will be given on May 15...,” said Mrutyunjay Mohapatra.
