Chicken Box patties
Ingredients:
Cooking oil 2 tbsp
Chicken keema (Mince) 500g
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Onion chopped 3 medium size
Salt 1 tsp or to taste
Black pepper powder ½ tsp
Red chilli crushed 1 tsp
Chilli sauce 1 tbsp
Soy sauce 1 tbsp
Green chilli chopped 1 tbsp
Cream ½ Cup (room temperature)
Capsicum chopped ½ Cup
Mozzarella cheese grated 1/2 Cup
Coriander leaves chopped 1/2 Cup
Flour slurry (2-3 tbs all-purpose flour + 3-4 tbs water)
Cooking oil for frying
Directions:
In a pan, add cooking oil, chicken mince & mix well until it changes color.
Add ginger garlic paste, mix well & cook for 1-2 minutes. add onion & mix well.
Add salt, black pepper powder, red chilli crushed, Chilli sauce, soy sauce, green chilli, mix well & cook for 4-5 minutes.
On low flame, add cream, mix well & cook for a minute. Let it cool.
Add capsicum, mozzarella cheese, fresh coriander, mix well & set aside.
In a small bowl, add all-purpose flour, gradually water & whisk well.
Flour slurry is ready!
Take samosa sheet/manda patti and cut into four equal parts/strips,place one samosa patti/strip horizontally,apply all-purpose flour skurry,place second samosa patti vertically over first one,it will make plus (+) sign.
Add chicken filling (1 tbs) in the centre and fold the top side so that it covers the filling.
Apply all-purpose flour slurry and fold all sides to make a square box.
Make sure that all sides are properly sealed and prepare the remaining box patties similarly (makes 20-25).
Can be stored in freezer for up to 1 month.
Deep Fry :
In wok,heat cooking oil and deep fry on medium flame until golden brown & crispy.
