Bruce Forsyth hosts another edition of The Generation Game, with Rosemary Ford assisting as usual amid the interruptions. The contestants on this episode are Mike & Helen Tupman from Wiltshire, Brenda Dicks & Ian Forsit from East Yorkshire, Barry Willetts & Jane Harvey from the West Midlands & Kent, and Chris Potter & Neil Holding from Merseyside, with Neil a Rugby League player for Oldham in an era in the early 1990's where both football and rugby clubs would enjoy Top Flight success and notice. Among the amusing games played include "Bedside Manners" (involving nurses and two celebrity patients), "Sweet Treat" (which proves nowhere near as easy as it looks), "Up the Wall" (wallpapering) and "Mime Star", which proves hilarious as the poor women have to guess what pop star their partner is supposed to be miming to. The finale involves the final pairs having to do a news report, where the footage does not always correspond with the news - not that the contestants know about it! Jan Leeming guests to give her ratings. Another great game is the Nurses game, where the patients turn out to be Big Break presenters John Virgo and Jim Davidson. But when it goes all Carry On and one girl is pulled over the bed and has her bum smacked it isn't who you'd expect. And another girl looks almost scared to lose so desperate is she to win, but with the opposition as good as they are will she reach the conveyor belt of prizes or will hearts be broken? Watch on and find out. And remember you are more than welcome to post these or any of my other videos elsewhere if you wish. These are here for people to enjoy, and the most places the better.
