Supreme Court orders stay on appointments to Waqf boards

The Supreme Court has stayed parts of the Waqf Act, 2025, including the removal of the 'waqf by user' clause. It also barred new appointments to Waqf Boards or the Waqf Council until the next hearing on May 5.
