Petro Gazz defeated by Taiwan
Premier Volleyball League (PVL) champion Petro Gazz opened its 2025 Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) campaign with a four-set loss over powerhouse Taiwan Taipower squad in Pool B, 15-25, 16-25, 25-19, 19-25 , on Monday, April 21, at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.
After a historic finish in the 2024-25 All-Filipino Conference, Petro Gazz had a lackluster start in the tournament after mounting 28 errors, while Taiwan only made 18.
Brooke Van Sickle chipped in 13 points in the match.
