While not historically accurate, I was very happy to be able to use my native British accent when playing General Hodge in the Chinese drama 'Crossing the Yalu River', set during the Korean War. I had assumed I was going to be dubbed (as I so often was back in the day), but this was another perfect example of why you should a) never makes assumptions and b) always do the homework! 😂
