21 Emon (21エモン) is a 1967 manga created by the same creator of Doraemon, Fujiko F. Fujio. A movie adaptation was made in 1981 based on several selected chapters. After 10 years of no new content, an anime adaptation was made in 1991 with an overhaul change in source. There are 2 mini-movies made for the series.
Hotel Tsuzure Inn (or just Tsuzure Inn) has been running for over 420 years and is still visited by people all over the universe. The main titular character, 21 Emon, is the 21st generation of the Emon ancestors, tracing the first one back to the Edo period. His parents wants him to take over as the new heir of the hotel, however Emon had a different dream as his dream wish is to become a space pilot.
In the manga, it takes place in 2018, whereas in the anime it takes place in 2051.

i posted the first translated lyrics on tumblr before making this video, i changed a few lines for this one because it looks quite off. take note that this is my first attempt on doing this.
im planning to sub the entirety of the 21 emon anime if i had the needed requirements for editing (I NEED TO KILL THE LOGO IN THIS VIDEO) and knowledge on making a proper fansub. i might hire people to help because i wanted it to let others be aware that this exists and make it at least more known (i might hire one of my tumblr mutual for this one but i dunno if theyre even interested since its an obscure piece of media 🤷♀️)
the "lover" being colored pink is just for flair because i think it looks cute
