Beijing (China) April 29, 2025 (ANI): On April 28, China’s foreign ministry urged both India and Pakistan to remain calm in the aftermath of last week’s deadly attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu-Kashmir. Speaking at a regular press briefing, ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun welcomed any steps that could help de-escalate tensions and voiced support for an impartial investigation into the incident. Guo emphasized the need for dialogue and consultation to resolve the issue.Meanwhile, India reported it had returned fire after "unprovoked" shooting from the Pakistani side along the Line of Control for the fifth night in a row. The Indian government continues its search for the perpetrators behind the April 22 Pahalgam Terror attack that claimed 26 lives, identifying two of the three suspects as Pakistani nationals. Pakistan, however, has denied involvement and has called for a neutral inquiry.The attack has sparked widespread anger in India, with growing demands for action against Pakistan, which New Delhi accuses of backing terrorism in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir
