Amendments to strengthen the Peaceful Assembly Act 2012 could be tabled in Parliament as early as June, said Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil.
Speaking during his weekly media briefing at the Communications Ministry in Putrajaya on Wednesday (April 30), Fahmi — who also serves as the government spokesman — said the proposed amendments are expected to be introduced in the next parliamentary session, or by October at the latest.
