Lucknow (UP), May 01, 2025(ANI): On the Union Cabinet's approval to include caste census in the national census, Congress MP Tariq Anwar said, "Despite the delay, he has made a decision. Congress party, especially party leader Rahul Gandhi, had been making an effort and raising their voice for this to happen both inside and outside the Parliament. They said that if the country and weak sections of society have to be brought forward, it is essential that the castes in society should get justice...Government had always rejected this. PM and other BJP leaders rejected it that there it should not be on the basis of caste. But I think Rahul Gandhi's movement has succeeded and he has achieved success."
