Jaipur (Rajasthan), May 01, 2025(ANI): On Union Cabinet's approval to include caste census in the national census, former Rajasthan Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Ashok Gehlot said Rahul Gandhi has been demanding Caste Census for a long time. He was very confident about this happening. He said, "This was being demanded for a long time...He (Rahul Gandhi) had been demanding Caste Census for a long time, he was very confident that this would certainly happen; that if PM Modi doesn't do it, we will...There was such an enormous pressure on the Government that they had to ultimately make this decision. Everyone has said Better late than never about this..."
