Today's contestants are Bob Merson & Janine Perkins from Berkshire, Lynn & Steve Powell from Cleveland, Tony Bennett (no, not that one) & Sam Vaughan from the West Midlands, and Shirley & Paul Brown from Cambridge. Bruce Forsyth and assistant Rosemary Ford preside over a fun episode, despite some seemingly prosaic games, such as being a one man (and woman) band, tying a bow on a Xmas parcel (not as easy as it should be for these contestants), being a pantomime cow, and Guessing the Musical song, which I struggled on with some (I clearly don't know my musicals). The finale involves the final couples having to perform a magic trick, assisted by Paul Daniels and Debbie McGee. And Daniels shows just what a amusing host is was here, while the final reveal will have you wondering "Surely that wasn't...?" Well, I'll not spoil the surprise. Just sit back and enjoy.
