Saharanpur (UP), May 1, 2025 (ANI): Speaking over caste census, after the Centre decided to include caste census in the national census, Aazad Samaj Party—Kanshi Ram, Chandra Shekhar Azad said, “The last real caste census was done under the British government... Since then, no caste census has been conducted—neither for backward classes nor for the general category. Until such a census is done, many things will remain unclear... we worry the current government might also reverse its stand after the Bihar elections and say they won’t conduct it..."
