Mumbai, May 1, 2025 (ANI): Filmmaker Boney Kapoor on May 1 praised Indian and Maharashtra governments for their united support at the inaugural World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES) 2025. He also said that great move to boost the entertainment industry. Kapoor also commended the event for acknowledging the victims of the recent Pahalgam terror attack. “It is a fantastic initiative. We had PM Narendra Modi's encouragement. The entire government and the Maharashtra government are backing it. It is a great move to boost the entertainment industry... I appreciate it (speakers paying tribute to Pahalgam terror attack victims at the event). It was a good platform to talk about it because we had people from all across the world. They should know how strongly we feel against what happened there,” said Boney Kapoor.
