New Delhi, May 01, 2025 (ANI): New Delhi DCP Devesh Kumar Mahla helds foot patrolling with point of view of area domination to thwart terror-related activities. He said, "With the point of view of Police presence and area domination in high footfall areas, we do foot patrolling when it is time for high footfall. The motive of this is area domination as well as to see that there is no illegal activity and anti-social element. This is also done from an anti-terrorist point of view. We also do random checking by the BDS (Bomb Disposal Squad) or BDDS (Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad) squad at these locations. We also meet people and corner meetings, eyes and ears scheme meeting is also done."
