For the start of the 3rd series of the 1990's Generation Game, the contestants today are Carole Forte-Hemming and Sandro Forte from Avon, Douglas & Lisa Hurt from Fife, Angela & Steve Nightingale from Northamptonshire & London, and Mike Taylor & Helen Emsley from Yorkshire. Bruce Forsyth hosts, but it's Rosemary Ford who is cock a hoop in this episode as not only is one of the team from her local Yorkshire, but she has recently been picked to be the new host of Come Dancing. Who'd of thought that Brucie would be hosting it's celebrity version 12 years later! Among the games are Polynesian stick dancing (complete with grass skirts), weighing marshmallow mix (yes, really!), making a clay T junction, and guess the singing stars (really difficult!). The finale saw a Beau Geste spoof, with Golden Girl Bea Arthur herself giving a somewhat rambling judging of the finale. But who will make it through to the conveyor belt of prizes and who will be sent to the foreign legion?
