The East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) project—spanning Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, and Selangor—has reached 82.45% completion as of April this year, Transport Minister Anthony Loke announced.
Speaking at the launch of the ECRL Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Phase Job Opportunity and PLKI-ECRL Offer Letter Presentation Ceremony on Tuesday (May 6), Loke revealed that ECRL Operation Sdn Bhd has been established to manage the O&M aspects of the project.
He said the move aligns with the government's goal of strengthening the national rail sector by expanding services and creating employment opportunities, especially for youth in railway engineering.
