Today's contestants are Tony Cross & Karen Boyes from Manchester & Lancashire, Val Hartley & Gary Weatherhead from Warwickshire & Suffolk, June & Mark Seabrook from Norfolk, and Peter & Jackie Swinburne from Buckinghamshire. Bruce Forsyth is on good form tonight with his quips with the contestants, while Rosemary Ford is on the lookout for a husband (though little did Robert Lindsey's wife know that it would be hers just a year later. Oh dear). Among the games they have to get through are hosting as Bruce and Rosemary (a couple being close to the mark), putting stickers on the models to where they think the muscles are in the body (and where one chap gets very cheeky), packing RAF backpacks and carving out an animal, which has very mixed results! The final sees the return of Brucie's wife Wilnelia and her latino dancing partner Paxo (or in this case his twin Sege, played by Richard Calkin) as the final two pairs perform the Mambo. That proved very close to call, but for the victorious couple there is a rarity on The Generation Game as they suffer a brain freeze at the conveyor belt of prizes. Yikes! Will they be able to turn it around?
