Tesla is offering a free one-year trial of its Supervised Full Self-Driving technology to select Cybertruck owners, according to emails shared by recipients and Tesla influencer Sawyer Merritt. Eligible Cybertruck owners must subscribe by June 6, 2025, to claim the offer, and Autosteer will only function within the Supervised Full Self-Driving system. The promotion comes as Tesla grapples with declining sales and a 71% drop in year-over-year profits. The company reportedly has thousands of unsold Cybertrucks in U.S. inventory and has begun repositioning the vehicle as a rugged utility truck. CEO Elon Musk reaffirmed his belief in Tesla’s self-driving technology, predicting a future where manual driving is rare.
