"Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy" is an anime series about Makoto Misumi, an ordinary high school student who is summoned to a fantasy world to be its hero, but is later banished by a goddess for being deemed unattractive. He is then forced to survive in the wilderness, encountering various mythical creatures and unlocking his own latent magical abilities. Makoto uses his newfound power to protect the innocent and work towards transforming the world into a better place, even though he was rejected by both humans and gods.
