A novelty singing fish has become an unlikely survivor of a house fire in North Carolina.
Contractor Bradley Bonee, 35, was inspecting the charred remains when a melted Big Mouth Billy Bass suddenly burst into a rendition of Gloria Gaynor’s I Will Survive.
The home was declared a total loss, but the motion-activated fish, though visibly melted, still worked. “It scared the life out of me at first,” said Bradley.
“Then I realised how funny and ironic it was.”
The crazy moment was captured on video in May 2022.
