Pakistan's Air Defence Units of HQ-9 air defence missile launchers have suffered heavy damage, as per the reports from sources in Islamabad. The report comes amid India-Pakistan tensions after India launches ‘Operation Sindoor’ in Pakistan based terror camps. After India’s Operation Sindoor hit terror hubs in Pakistan and PoK, Pak targeted military positions on May 7 night. Pakistan targeted military sites across Northern and Western India, including key cities, using drones and missiles. These were neutralised by the Integrated Counter UAS Grid and Air Defence systems. Indian Air Force S-400 Sudarshan Chakra air defence missile systems were fired last night against targets moving towards India. The targets were successfully neutralised in the operation, multiple domain experts told ANI. Operation Sindoor, carried out between 1:05 AM and 1:30 AM on May 7, based on credible intelligence. Indian forces targeted 9 facilities including UN-designated terror groups Jaish-e-Mohammed, Lashkar-e-Taiba, in “Operation Sindoor”. Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force coordinated the strikes with a focus on avoiding civilian casualties and Pak Army infrastructures
