Plaid Cymru leader Rhun ap Iorwerth has ruled out the possibility of an independence referendum in their first term if they were to be elected as the biggest party in the Senedd. Independence from the UK has been a growing movement in Wales for some time, but for now, it’s firmly on the back burner.
