David returns to the street plotting revenge against Kit. He startles the detective by charging at him with his car and slamming on the brakes at the last second. Bernie intervenes when the pair argue about whose fault it was. David taunts Kit for planting evidence against Nathan Curtis. Kit immediately realises that David is recording the conversation and seizes his phone. He proceeds to pull out a baton and smash his own car windscreen with it before arresting David for criminal damage. Kit lets David go when Sarah arrives on the scene, warning him to tread carefully.
