The Perak Department of Wildlife and National Parks (Perhilitan) is continuing to monitor the mother elephant whose calf was killed by lorry along the East-West Highway in Gerik-Jeli on Sunday (May 11) morning.
State Perhilitan director Yusoff Shariff clarified that a viral video circulating online claiming to show the mother elephant returning to the accident site does not feature the same elephant.
