Twelve-year-old Jailyn Mason, who has had five organ transplants, was diagnosed with B-cell lymphoma after developing a fever.
Born with gastroschisis, she received a kidney transplant in 2022, followed by a quadruple transplant—liver, intestine, spleen, and kidney—in November 2024.
In February 2025, doctors discovered her cancer.
Jailyn briefly went on life support but has responded well to chemotherapy, with 95% of the cancer now gone.
Her adoptive mum, Dyshica Bradley, shaved her head to show Jailyn that she is not alone.
