Taiwan's defense ministry says 35 Chinese military aircraft and eight naval vessels were operating near Taiwan over a 24-hour period ending Wednesday morning. It said 25 of those aircraft entered Taiwan's air defense identification zone, or ADIZ. That comes as Taiwan carries out tests of U.S.-made missile systems in the south of the country.
