The former leader of the Victorian Liberal Party John Pesutto is on the brink of being expelled from the state parliament. Mr Pesutto has been ordered to pay more than 2.3 million dollars in legal costs to fellow Liberal Moira Deeming following her defamation victory. It's a bill he cannot foot right now and former Premiers are urging the party to step in.
