Srinagar, May 16, 2025 (ANI): Regarding CM Omar Abdullah's visit to border areas, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister’s Advisor Nasir Aslam Wani on May 16 said that he personally went and reviewed the status in border areas after shelling. He also that they assured the people that a special package will be given from government. “The CM personally went and reviewed the status in border areas after shelling. It is our duty to compensate the public for the loss they have suffered in the border areas. We have assured them we will get a special package from the Government of India. For the last few days, things have been quiet after the ceasefire...There were a lot (of civilian casualties) in Uri, Poonch....,” said Nasir Aslam Wani.
