New Delhi, May 20, 2025 (ANI): Union Agricultural Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on May 20 highlighted agri’s role in the path of making India ‘Viksit Bharat’ by 2047. He also stressed on “increasing agri exports to 20%”. “We are reiterating the call for One Nation, One Agriculture and One Team. For India to become a $5 trillion economy, we must make agriculture a $1 trillion economy. We are setting targets for that. We will have to increase our exports from 6% to 20%... We want to bridge the gap between labs and land, that is, research and farming", he said in a statement.
