“Will ensure that civilians are protected…” DK Shivakumar on city inspection on Bengaluru floods

Bengaluru, May 21, 2025 (ANI): Speaking on city inspection after torrential rains brought the state capital to a standstill, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar on May 21 said that 70 pc of the problem has been sorted out and 30 pc is still left. He also said that they will ensure that the civilians of Bengaluru are protected at any cost. “There are lot of things still left. 70% of the problem has been sorted out and 30% is still left, we will attend to it. We will ensure that the civilians of Bengaluru are protected at any cost. That is our bound duty and we will do it...,” said DK Shivakumar.
