🤝Ieri abbiamo avuto un incontro bilaterale e oggi il Presidente ha partecipato alla riunione del Collegio dei Commissari, presieduta dalla Presidente Ursula Von der Leyen.
❗️Nel suo intervento, il Presidente Mattarella ha ribadito la necessità di un’Unione Europea più forte e coesa — un obiettivo che condividiamo pienamente.
✅️L’esperienza ci insegna che è proprio nei momenti più difficili che l’Unione è chiamata a dare il meglio di sé, riscoprendo le ragioni profonde della sua esistenza. Questa Commissione è impegnata a trasformare le sfide in opportunità, con determinazione e visione.
🇬🇧It was a great honor to welcome President Sergio Mattarella to Brussels. Yesterday, we held a bilateral meeting, and today the President took part in the meeting of the College of Commissioners, chaired by President Ursula von der Leyen.
In his address, President Mattarella reaffirmed the need for a stronger and more cohesive European Union — a goal we fully share.
Experience teaches us that it is precisely in the most challenging moments that the Union is called upon to rise to the occasion and rediscover the fundamental reasons for its existence. This Commission remains committed to turning challenges into opportunities, with determination and vision. (21.05.25)
