New Delhi, May 21, 2025 (ANI): Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Delhi minister Kapil Mishra helds meeting with ‘Gau Shala’ operator and dairy owners over the issue of stray cows.Speaking to media, CM Rekha Gupta said, "The condition of the 11 dairies shifted to Delhi's outskirts, where thousands of cows are kept, is extremely poor. Even after so many years, drinking water is not available there, nor any sanitation or sewage system. The previous Delhi governments did not provide them with any facility. That is why we see stray cows on the roads and the cow owners not wanting to go to those dairies.... The Chief Minister or Cabinet of the last educated government that used to make tall claims never bothered even to visit these dairies to see the condition of the animals and people living there... Our government will try to provide facilities for the dairies in Delhi so that the cows can prosper, and more cowsheds can be built."
