Kolkata, May 22, 2025 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha held protest and gherao of Bidhahnagar police commissionerate in Saltlake over brutal attack on teachers in West Bengal . The angry protestors also burned the effigies. The teachers are protesting against the Mamata Banerjee-led West Bengal government over 26,000 teachers losing their jobs in connection with the SSC recruitment case. The protest follows a Supreme Court judgement which held that the whole appointment process was tainted.
