As the conservative parties’ edge towards a reunification, they've been encouraged by party elders on both sides working both in front of and behind the cameras. Former Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull is among them, and he's told the ABC's David Speers that the Nationals have held a gun to the Liberals heads.
