21 मई 2025 को छत्तीसगढ़ के नारायणपुर ज़िले के अबूझमाड़ के घने जंगलों में सुरक्षा बलों और नक्सलियों के बीच भीषण मुठभेड़ हुई। इस ऑपरेशन में DRG (District Reserve Guard) के जवानों ने बहादुरी दिखाते हुए 27 नक्सलियों को ढेर कर दिया। यह हाल के वर्षों का सबसे बड़ा एंटी-नक्सल ऑपरेशन माना जा रहा है।
मुठभेड़ के बाद जवानों ने विजय का जश्न मनाया और यह साफ कर दिया कि अब भारत नक्सलवाद को जड़ से खत्म करने के मिशन पर है।
